Open tramcars on bogies

283-322

These 40 electric tramcars were constructed by Brill of Philadelphia. They came into service in 1902. Most went out of service in 1952-1955. The 305 was already withdrawn in 1935 while its trucks and electric equipment was used for a new tramcar. The 283 was used until 1961 for instruction. Now this car is part of the museum collection.
