Brill made 80 open 4-wheel tramcars, which were put into service in Lisbon in 1901. It were the first Lisbon electric trams. Between 1932 and 1937 most went out of service, although probably a few survived into the fourties. Except for the 247, the trucks and electric equipments were used for "Standard" type tramcars with retaining their numbers. The 247 became a workscar with the number 397. In 1975 this car was sold to a museum in Detroit (USA).
